Transforming how Oregon's outdoor industry connects and collaborates required more than just another association website—it demanded a digital ecosystem that could scale with a growing community while maintaining the authentic spirit of outdoor culture. The Oregon Outdoor Alliance project presented the perfect opportunity to merge sophisticated web development with purposeful design for social responsibility.

Our design process began with extensive user research across diverse stakeholders, from gear manufacturers to adventure guides, revealing the need for intuitive member discovery and seamless event engagement. Through iterative wireframing and prototyping in Figma, we crafted a responsive design system that balances professional credibility with the rugged authenticity of outdoor culture. The visual identity leverages Oregon's natural palette while ensuring accessibility across devices. Key innovations include dynamic filtering for the member directory, interactive event calendars with real-time updates, and micro-interactions that guide users through complex networking workflows without overwhelming the experience.

The target audience spans outdoor industry professionals, from startup founders to established retailers, all seeking meaningful connections within Oregon's outdoor ecosystem. Our UX decisions prioritize quick member discovery and effortless event registration, supporting the fast-paced nature of industry networking. Built entirely in Webflow, the platform showcases advanced CMS capabilities with custom animations and responsive layouts that perform flawlessly across desktop and mobile. The result is a scalable, community-driven platform that positions Oregon Outdoor Alliance as the definitive hub for the state's thriving outdoor industry.
