Webflow's DNS Update
What It Means for Your Site
Webflow is upgrading its hosting infrastructure and migrating all connected domains to Cloudflare — a change that improves performance, security, and reliability across all sites.
To stay connected, some sites will need a quick DNS update before November 3, 2025.
Client note: If you are a current monthly website support client of fare·well, we've got you! You can disregard this email.
When you log into your Webflow dashboard, you may see a yellow banner at the top prompting you to “Update Domain / DNS.”

If you see it, your site’s domain needs to be migrated to the new Cloudflare-based setup.
If you don’t see the banner yet, hold off — updating early could cause downtime. At this stage though, most users should be seeing it.

How to automatically migrate your DNS records
What to do
- Log into your Webflow workspace.
- Look for the yellow banner notification at the top of your dashboard.
- If it appears, click through and follow the steps to Update Domain / DNS.
You’ll be prompted to authenticate with your domain registrar (like GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.) directly through Webflow’s secure migration tool. - Once migrated, confirm your default domain is correctly set under your site’s settings.
Deadline
All DNS updates should be completed by November 3, 2025 to prevent any downtime or connection issues.
